🌠 Michael Mizrachi Biography

Michael Mizrachi was born January 5, 1981 in Miami Beach, Florida. Brothers Eric, Daniel and the elder Robert made a significant contribution to his upbringing. Already at a young age, all four boys learned to play poker. While in college, Michael Mizrachi became seriously interested in playing poker, and it was this game that made him quit studying.

Michael's brother Robert helped in the development of Internet poker. It was he who helped Michael Mizrachi work his way through all the stakes from $5/10 to $100/200 at PokerStars. He lived off the excellent income he made from playing poker, becoming more and more famous.

Michael then took a job at the Seminole Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where he honed his craft. He soon traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Poker and finished the tournament in 11th place. Thus, having made a buy-in of $1,500, he won, by those standards, a fortune. This tournament was his first major poker win.

In 2006 he finished in second place on the WPT World Poker Tour and ten days later won the WPT Borgata Open Winter, making Michael Mizrachi increasingly popular and recognizable. In the same year, he was published in CardPlayer magazine as the best player of the year.

Over the next few years, he continued to show amazing results in tournaments. His last win before 2010 was the Festa al Lago at the Bellagio in Las Vegas in NL Hold'em in which Michael received $120,000. In early 2010, Mizrachi began harassing the Florida IRS for unpaid taxes from 2005-2007.

After solving the problem with the tax, Michael again took up the game. In 2010 at the World Series of Poker he played the $50,000 tournament for the first time and won it for a well deserved reward of $1,559,046. A number of smaller victories followed.

Mizrachi currently resides in Hollywood, Florida with his family while perfecting his poker skills. His total income from playing poker tournaments is more than $5. 8 million.
