David Lawrence Schwimmer was born on the 2nd of November, 1966, in New York. As his mother was a lawyer the family had to change the place of living rather often. David was rather talented in studies but he did not get friends at school. In every new school David was an active participant of drama clubs and took part in school performances. When he was in Chicago, one of his teachers convinced him to take part in a special vacation acting program which was run by Northwestern University. The first part of David was in the project called ‘A Deadly Silence’. One of his most important roles was the part of Ross in the series ‘Friend’. For that part he got a lot of awards and was nominated several times. David is also known as a director and a producer.
