Wiki: ✎edit
David Robert Jones (known as David Bowie) was born in 1947 in Brixton, London, England. Despite the fact that he showed his interest in music at the young age, David pursued the musical art only in sixties. He started his career by joining some blues bands, but began performing solo afterwards. In 1967 he released his debut album, called ‘David Bowie’. To promote his third album ‘The man who sold the world’ Bowie was put in a dress to emphasize his androgynous look. His breakthrough record ‘The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the spiders from Mars’ came out and climbed the charts in 1972. The man with outstanding and bright personality became a legend and will never be forgotten by his faithful fans.
