Neil Timothy Helson was born on the 24th of February, 1989, in Ashland which is located in Kentucky. He was born in a family of musicians. He was brought up by his mother and step-father. He and his step-father travelled a lot and it was he who taught the boy to perform and sing. When he was a ten, he decided to leave school. In 2006 he became one of the members of the band called ‘Metro Station’. Later he tried to establish his solo career and spent some years for it. But then he made up his mind to return to the group and now he is singing there.
