The second group is his own one. He founded it back in 1992. Two decades ago, he became a key member of Slipknot replacing the vocalist who sang from the very foundation of the group.

It was his grandma who showed him the world of rock music. He got interested in her collection of records, specifically of Elvis Presley. Then the songs of Black Sabbath appealed to him. Corey said that the old farmhouse the family used to live looked liked from the covers of the Black Sabbath albums.
