He started off on Vine in 2013, where he had more than a million of followers. In 2014 he joined a collaborative YouTube channel called Second Class. A bit later, he launched his solo vlogging channel, which attracted nearly 4 million of subscribers - a million more than his Instagram.
David thinks YouTube is a temporary job for him. That is why he gives interviews like this. Suddenly someone sees them and takes him, for example, as a manager to the cinema. "After all, when all this collapses, I will have a nervous breakdown, and there will be my photos on Hollywood Boulevard," Dobrik laughs. While a huge number of YouTube account holders suffer from burnout, David continues to create tremendous content. And so far, no signs of a worsening of this situation are foreseen.
